I’ve been wanting to express my love for Neon Neon for a while now, but for one reason or another I haven’t gotten around to doing so. They’ve been dominating my stereo lately with their 80s inspired synth-pop goodness.

Neon Neon is Super Fury Animals’ Gruff Rhys and sound man extraordinaire Boom Bip. Their debut album, Stainless Style, is a beautifully crafted synth-pop concept album themed around the life of John Delorean. You know, the guy that invented the Delorean. It features guest appearances from Spank Rock, Yo Majesty, and Fat Lip. Stainless Style’s super addictive, hook laden melodies are like a drug, they will keeping you coming back for more.
