It seems as if good old fashion pop music is tough to come by these days. More and more bands are doing the whole experimental thing so they can get a 7.0 or above review from P4K. Not that there’s anything wrong with these bands because I do enjoy their music, but sometimes you just find yourself in the mood for some pop music. If that’s the case you needn’t look any further.

Brooklyn’s Anthem In recently released their terrific self-titled debut album and they are drawing comparisons to Deathcab, Pinback, and Teenage Fanclub. It appears as if they are finding themselves in good company.

So if you’re looking for some quality, infectious, guitar laden pop music this definitely demands some time with your headphones.
