Flaming Lips Honor The Who

If you caught the VH1 Rock Honors celebrate the long illustrious career of a little band known as The Who, you inevitably saw the Flaming Lips absolutely rock the place. The Lips performed a medley of songs from The Who’s legendary Rock Opera, Tommy. They performed them well too.

I think it’s safe to say Wayne brought the bubble, but the band brought the rock. Steven, Kliph, and Michael were insanely good. Also, I’m not sure there’s a person out there that is better at swinging things around than Wayne. Dude has it mastered! How about that Gong? I want one so bad.

If you watch the whole thing you’ll see that the Lips stole the show.
