Fall Mix Tape

lego_rave I know this pic has nothing to do with fall; I just liked it.

First and foremost the songs on this mix tape really have nothing to do with fall. They are just a compilation of songs I’ve been enjoying since the leaves started turning. I feel compelled to make this statement because someone will inevitably leave a comment calling bullshit on “Walkabout” being a fall song and demanding that it should be heard under the summer sun.  I’m aware of this, but it turns out I also enjoy “Walkabout” in the fall.

Anyways enjoy the songs and feel free to recommend any actual “fall” songs.

Side 1:

Mount Eerie – “Winds Dark Poem”
Lake – “Gravel”
The Drums – “I Felt Stupid”
Suckers – “Out On the Water”
Thao With The Get Down Stay Down – “Know Better Learn Faster”
The Flaming Lips – “Silver Trembling Hands”
Atlas Sound (Feat. Noah Lennox) – “Walkabout”
Smith Westerns – “Imagine, Pt. 3″
Wild Beasts – “All The Kings Men”

Side 2:

The Dutchess And The Duke – “Hands”
No Age – “You’re A Target”
Thee Fair Ohs – “Summer Lake”
The Clientele – “Harvest Time”
Los Campesinos – “The Sea Is A Good Place To Think Of The Future”
Memory Tapes – “Green Knight”
Yeasayer – “Ambling Alp”
Vampire Weekend – “Horchata”
