New Releases: 3/16/2010
It’s a pretty slow week for new releases, but what is being released is pretty solid. I’m already a fan of the new Eddy Current Suppression Ring and I’m excited to finally listen to the new Drive By Truckers. However, I am most excited to hear the White Stripes new live album, Under Great White Northern Lights, in a manner that isn’t a stream. I want this album on my home stereo turned all the way up.

The new Eddy Current is a little more raw (if that’s even possible) than there other records. But somehow that’s what makes their rock sound so organic and pure. It’s growing on me more with each listen. I’m looking forward to listening to the new White Stripes album–though it only makes me long for them to put out some new work.
