I just realized that it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, so what better way to get things going again than with Austin’s indie-poppers Tacks, The Boy Disaster.  TTBD have garnered a considerable amount of critical praise with their killer hooks and 70s inspired dreamy psych-pop.  They make beautifully crafted music that will fill your head with a warm glow of swirling guitars, hypnotic rythyms, and delicate harmonies.   You pick up a copy of TTBD‘s EP, Oh, Beatrice, here. 

TTBD will playing with Cheeseburger, Juiceboxx, and  fellow Austinites, White Denim tonight at the Galapagos art center in NYC.  Tomorrow night TBBD will be playing at the Living Room for the Paste Magazine Party and then it’s off to England.  Look for mp3s and videos after the jump.
