Band to Watch: Ravens & Chimes

Ravens & Chimes are a twentysomething indie kids from New York. I know, indie kids from New York, but before you jump to any conclusions you should first listen to what they have to offer. When I listen to their music I hear a little Bright Eyes mixed with a little Arcade Fire and a dash of Leonard Cohen. Their debut album, Reichenbach Falls, is in stores now. More info and mp3s after the jump.
What others are saying...
“R&C keep getting compared to Wolf Parade and Voxtrot for lyrics that tug at your heart strings and synth softened by the dulcet instrumentals of flute, mandolin, and glockenspiel.” – NYLON (CMJ coverage)
“Squeaky-new bouncy pop from Brooklyn, NY.” – RightRound
“This is an unbelievable album.” – The Rawking Refuses To Stop
