I’ve been keeping track of all the significant (at least in my opinion) new releases of 2008 hoping that a list sorted by release date might help some of us with “year-end” lists. I figured I would compile it by release date because all too often a great record from January or February isn’t given the year end recognition because it isn’t as fresh in our minds.

Considering there are 52 weeks in a year that means I have 52 chances of leaving something grand off the list so if there is anything missing feel free to let me know and I will gladly add it to the list.
