Great Things On YouTube – Tom Wait’s Performing “Chocolate Jesus” on Letterman

This is a video of Tom Wait’s performing “Chocolate Jesus” on The Late Show with David Letterman circa 1999. This is easily the best performance I’ve ever seen on any of the late night talk shows. Tom always brings it, but there is just something special about this one. Make sure you and around and watch the post performance interview too. I think it’s safe to say that Tom Waits is brilliant. Also, I could really go for a Testamint right about now. I need something that tastes delicious and will save my soul.

    Thanks. Reminds me of when I saw Tough Tom around the time of Frank’s Wild Years. In Montreal in an converted church. The guy put on a show-of-shows, so entertaining. He’s creativity personified.
